Compare · SOCi vs Digital IngenuitySOCi gives your team agents to manage. We give you a strategist who runs it.
SOCi is an agent platform: its Genius Agents keep listings, reviews, social posts and local pages working at every location, inside rules your team sets. Digital Ingenuity is one managed service for every size, from one location to thousands: a strategist runs your map rank, listings, reviews and Google Business Profile on our own platform, and the same team answers your chat, texts and calls, writes to your list and watches your ads. Month to month, no contract; we ask for one quarter on a handshake, because results take time to show. Changes wait for your approval.
Checked October 1, 2026, against SOCi's own pages
The short answer.
Why we are the better choice, and what the checks show.
- For a business of any size, from one location to thousands. We run the listings, review and Google Business Profile work SOCi's agents do, with a scorecard for every location and corporate and regional views refreshed daily, and add what its pages do not list: phone answering, a CRM of our own, a map grid and click fraud protection.
- For an agency that wants the work done. The whole platform under your name and domain, every client on one console, with a strategist carrying the work.
- Counted, not claimed. Of the 73 checks below, both sides do 26, 38 are ours in full where SOCi lists none or part, and 6 are SOCi's alone, marked in gold.
Better in six ways, each one checkable.
Every reason below points at the rows that prove it. If a row does not hold up, the reason does not either.
- 01A strategist runs it.
SOCi's agents do the work inside rules your team writes and reviews. With us a strategist runs the account on every plan, month to month with no contract, and your accounts, data and every page stay yours if you leave.
Rows 1 to 7How it runs → - 02Your leads get answered in seconds.
SOCi Chat answers website chat and texts, and its Local Pages carry a booking button. Its pages list no phone answering and no CRM of its own; it connects to CRMs such as Salesforce. Ours answers chat and texts in about four seconds, picks up your calls, books the slot into your calendar and files the lead with its source and a summary.
Rows 8 to 15Who answers your leads → - 03The map on a grid, and reviews asked for on time.
SOCi watches rankings, keeps listings accurate and replies to reviews, and we do those too. On top we set a 7 by 7 grid around each location, build and clean citations, audit the site every night, earn links, ask for the review by text and email forty minutes after the job and track who earns them.
- 04Someone writes to your list and audits your ad spend.
SOCi sends surveys by email and text; its pages list no marketing campaigns to your customer list. Its Ads and Boost product plans and launches campaigns, and we build and run them too. We add campaigns drafted for your yes with every reply answered, a nightly read of Google and Meta spend against every lead, and click fraud blocked by TrafficShield.
- 05The whole website, and one brief every morning.
SOCi builds local pages on its own product and emails scheduled reports. SiteLab builds and cares for the whole site; we publish changes to your own site after your yes, watch its speed, and write one brief at 6:58 that says what moved and why.
- 06Your name on it, with the work done.
SOCi's reseller program offers white label software that the partner runs. We white label the whole platform on your domain from the agency Growth plan, put every client on one console, resell add ons at your price, and a strategist carries the work under your name.
Rows 67 to 73Agencies and franchises →
Every check, both sides marked.
Ten areas, in the order you would ask about them. Each area opens with the question it answers and a one line verdict. Where a check is SOCi's alone, the row is marked in gold.

Your SOCi locations, the networks you post to, the review sites you watch and any local pages. The form takes about two minutes.
You, about two minutes - We set it up beside it
We load your locations, load each one into the directory network, start review monitoring and set a 7 by 7 grid around each location. Chat, texting and phone answering switch on when you want them. SOCi keeps running while we work.

SOCi questions, answered.
SOCi's agents do the work. Why pay for a service?
SOCi's agents do a great deal of the work, inside rules and approvals that your team still sets and reviews. With us a strategist owns the plan: map rank, listings, reviews, the receptionist that answers chat, texts and calls, campaigns, ads and the site, with one brief every morning and changes that wait for your approval.
What does SOCi have that Digital Ingenuity does not?
Six checks in the table are marked for SOCi alone, in gold: Canada as well as the United States; connectors to other business systems; an embeddable review widget; customer surveys; Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok publishing; and automated compliance checks on every post. Our posts are proofread and approved by you, not checked by a rule engine.
Can I take my data out of SOCi?
SOCi's 2026 release notes describe a data hub that imports and exports listings and exports pages and reviews, with scheduled SFTP delivery, and a reporting suite that emails reports as PDF or XLSX. Its help center did not open for us, so run those exports with SOCi's support before your renewal date.
Should I cancel SOCi before you start?
No. Keep it running until our first brief sits beside your last SOCi reports. The move is set up next to what you have, and nothing your customers see changes until you say yes.
Is Digital Ingenuity a fit for an agency leaving SOCi?
Yes, if you want the work done under your name. SOCi's reseller page offers the software co branded, white label or by API, with the partner delivering the service. We give you the whole platform on your domain from the agency Growth plan, a console over every client, add ons at your prices, and a strategist who carries the work.
Weighing something else?
Your account, side by side.
Fifteen minutes with a strategist, your accounts on the screen, and a straight answer on whether to leave SOCi.
