Compare · Thryv vs Digital IngenuityThryv bundles the tools and adds help on top. We run the marketing for you.
Thryv is marketing and sales software for small service businesses, a CRM, booking, invoices, listings, reviews and social, that you run after guided onboarding, with done for you Boosts sold as add ons. Digital Ingenuity is one managed service for every size, from one location to thousands: a strategist runs your map rank, listings, reviews and Google Business Profile on our own platform, and the same team answers your chat, texts and calls, writes to your list and watches your ads. Month to month, no contract; we ask for one quarter on a handshake, because results take time to show. Changes wait for your approval.
Checked October 1, 2026, against Thryv's own pages
The short answer.
Why we are the better choice, and what the checks show.
- For a business of any size, from one location to thousands. We run Thryv's marketing side, listings, reviews, Google and Facebook posts, ads and the website, with one strategist, and add what its pages do not list: a map rank grid, unfair review flagging and click fraud protection.
- For an agency that wants the work done. The whole platform under your name and domain, every client on one console. Thryv's partner program pays commission and lists no white label.
- Counted, not claimed. Of the 71 checks below, both sides do 27, 36 are ours in full where Thryv lists none or part, and 5 are Thryv's alone, marked in gold.
Better in six ways, each one checkable.
Every reason below points at the rows that prove it. If a row does not hold up, the reason does not either.
- 01One strategist on the whole account.
Thryv is software you run after onboarding, and each Boost is a separate done for you service. With us one strategist runs everything on every plan, the crew reads the account overnight, and changes wait for your approval. Thryv's own FAQ describes a six month initial term; ours is month to month with no contract, and we ask for one quarter on a handshake because results take time to show. Your data exports any time and stays yours.
Rows 1 to 7How it runs → - 02The map on a grid, and reviews asked for by text.
Thryv lists listings, review monitoring and AI written replies, with SEO as a Boost. We set a 7 by 7 grid around each location, build and clean citations, audit the site every night, ask for the review by text and email forty minutes after the job, flag unfair ones and ask happy reviewers for referrals.
- 03Campaign replies answered, click fraud blocked.
Thryv sends email and text campaigns, and its team runs and optimizes ads daily, which is a real managed service. Our receptionist answers every campaign reply and books the job, journeys run by segment, TrafficShield blocks click fraud nightly, and budget moves wait for your yes.
- 04Thirty posts a month, and a site that is watched.
Thryv's Social Posts Boost writes three posts a week and its designers build a site. We draft thirty posts a month from your real jobs in ContentLab, cut short video, write long form content, publish site changes after your yes with a live check and rollback, and watch the site's speed.
- 05One brief every morning.
Thryv gives you a dashboard, a Reporting Center and automated SEO reports. With SearchLight we check listings, leads and spend every thirty minutes, and we write one brief at 6:58 that says what moved, why, and the one thing that needs you.
Rows 61 to 66Reporting and the morning → - 06Your name on it, if you are an agency.
Thryv's partner program pays commission; its pages list no white label. We white label the whole platform from the agency Growth plan, put every client on one console and carry the work under your name.
Rows 67 to 71Agencies and franchises →
Every check, both sides marked.
Ten areas, in the order you would ask about them. Each area opens with the question it answers and a one line verdict. Where a check is Thryv's alone, the row is marked in gold.

The Thryv column comes from Thryv's own public pages, read on October 1, 2026. Not listed means we did not find it there, not that Thryv lacks it. If something has changed, tell us and we will correct it. Logos belong to their owners and are shown for comparison only.
Moving from Thryv, in three steps.
- Tell us what you have
Which Thryv centers and Boosts you use, your listings, your review sites and whether you bill through ThryvPay. The form takes about two minutes.
You, about two minutes - We set it up beside it
We load your client list, load each location into the directory network, start review monitoring and set a 7 by 7 grid around each location. Chat, texting and phone answering switch on when you want them. Thryv keeps running while we work.
Us, while your tools keep running - You review and switch
You compare our first brief with your Thryv dashboard. Thryv's own FAQ describes a six month initial term that renews, so check your renewal date, and settle where estimates, invoices and payments will live before you switch.

Thryv questions, answered.
Thryv also sells done for you Boosts. How is yours different?
Thryv's Boosts are separate services for ads, search, social and branding, added to software that you run yourself after onboarding. Ours is one managed service: a strategist runs local search, reviews, the receptionist, campaigns, ads and the site together, month to month with no contract. Changes wait for your approval, and one brief arrives each morning.
What does Thryv have that Digital Ingenuity does not?
Five checks in the table are marked for Thryv alone, in gold: four countries; payments; chat or calls answered by its own staff; connectors to other business systems; and Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok publishing. If you send estimates and invoices or take payments through Thryv, you will still need a tool for that.
Can I take my data out of Thryv?
Thryv's questions page says clients import by CSV, that trackable phone numbers do not go with you if you cancel, and that the account and its website are taken down when you cancel and can be reactivated within 60 business days. We found no export steps on the pages we opened, so ask Thryv support for your client list, form responses and calendar before your term ends. Your reviews stay on Google, Yelp and the review sites where customers wrote them.
Should I cancel Thryv before you start?
No. Keep it running until our first brief sits beside your Thryv dashboard. Thryv's own FAQ describes a six month initial term that renews, so check your renewal date and let us set up beside it first.
Is there a contract?
No. Every plan is month to month, with no contract, and you can cancel any month. We ask for one quarter on a handshake, because results take time to show; that is a request, not a term. Your accounts, data, domain and every page stay yours. It starts with a free audit and a fifteen minute call with a strategist.
Weighing something else?
Your account, side by side.
Fifteen minutes with a strategist, your accounts on the screen, and a straight answer on whether to leave Thryv.
